About the trials.
Cristiano Ronaldo Football Campus (CRFC) in association with the Madeira Sports Agency (MSSA) have exclusively appointed Sportzplanet & Pacific Sports Management (PSM) to present the Cristiano Ronaldo Youth Football Trials in Australia 2023/24 and beyond.

The Cristiano Ronaldo Football Campus Tournament is a FIFA approved global event, where over 1000 players from around the world come to compete for the honour to win. The event is attended to by many of the biggest football clubs in the world and the very best junior football players in the world.

The Cristiano Ronaldo Football Campus trials will be targeting junior football players across Australia. It will be our objective to find the very best junior football players in order to form a representative team to attend the Cristiano Football Campus tournament held in Cristiano Ronaldo's home town of Madeira Portugal. The tournament has been held over many years and this is the first time teams from Australia have been offered the opportunity to compete.

For those lucky enough to be invited, this will be an 'all expenses paid trip' to Madeira Portugal.

Registration
Process
Selection
The Cristiano Ronaldo Football Campus Trials are open to 'all' registered junior football players in Australia, from the Under 11 and Under 13 age groups. Players must be registered with the Australian Trials program in order to trial and be selected. A series of state trials will be held throughout Australia in 2023, culminating with the 'final' national selection trials, held in April 2024, in order to win selection to attend the global tournament in Madeira, Portugal.

National Trial
All trials will follow the 'Cristiano Ronaldo Football Campus' format, rules and regulations. State and National selectors will be in place throughout the entire trial program. Here they will oversee all trials, with nominated players from state trials given the opportunity to compete at the national and final selection trial, to be held on the Gold Coast Australia. The final selection of the players to travel to Portugal will be in the hands of the international selectors from the 'Cristiano Ronaldo Football Campus' and 'Madeira Sports Agency' Portugal.

Trials will be conducted across 2-days
Day 1: to consist of performance testing and skills based activity
Day 2: to consist entirely of game play, 7 on 7 games and similar

We all started somewhere
The Cristiano Ronaldo story
Every person started somewhere and it was no different for Cristiano Ronaldo, born in Santo António, a neighbourhood of Funchal, Madeira. The youngest child of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, a cook, and José Dinis Aveiro, a municipal gardener. Yet although he grew up poor, he went on to become one of the greatest football players ever.
Today in Madeira, the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo is felt from the moment you arrive. The airport is named after him. And a quarter of a century after leaving for Lisbon, he remains a source of inspiration for young footballers not only on the island but around the world.
